PUTRAJAYA – Umno president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof have been appointed as deputy prime ministers, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar is also helming the finance portfolio while Zahid is given the Rural and Regional Development Ministry and Fadillah takes the plantation industries and commodities portfolio.

DAP secretary-general and Seremban MP Anthony Loke is back as transport minister while Amanah president and Kota Raja MP Mohamad Sabu will helm the Agriculture and Food Security Ministry.

Meanwhile, Anwar’s Finance Ministry will also be assisted by a team of highly qualified advisors led by Petronas advisor Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, who will be working free of charge. – The Vibes, December 2, 2022
